How early should you be thinking about a career?

Should it be in 10th grade, or in your junior year?

Well, if you're basing your career choice on your interests, you can start earlier than that. Most people's interests are more or less fixed by their early teen years.

But if you're wise, you'll use IOLAS to help you make a decision. And IOLAS uses not only your interests to match you with careers: it uses your personal values. That's why IOLAS can be so insightful.

Your values can shift a lot as you mature. So we recommend taking the IOLAS Survey in your junior year - late, sure, but not too late.
